have flowers, but they will not bring nourishment
to your garden.

over your garden – you goals and dreams? I have started
a list of things that can hamper or destroy the wonder-
ful things that God wants for your life. Add to this
list and quickly banish those pesky weeds.
1. Fear of failure
2. Disbelief - That could not really happen to me!
3. Negative comments of friends and family
4. Overwhelming problems that distract you from your
goals.
5. Apathy
Tend your garden daily and you will reap a rich reward!

I have a lot of fun building my hobby mailing list. This month marks my second year as a blogger. In reviewing what has really made a difference for me in making my blog a good money maker, I came to a simple conclusion. The best way for an online business of any kind to attract new customers is to help them find you. Without ranking them here are my personal favorite ways to help others find me: article writing, SEO campaigns, track cells, conversions, PPC and ROI.
I see many people aimlessly wandering through life with no thoughts of goals or plans to make any goals come true. You know people like that too, don’t you? The most they can hope for is to get through the week…or the day.
I would encourage you to make a list of goals in your life. You can put anything on your list that you really want. I have seen many people’s lists that had things like boats, big houses, fancy cars and diamond rings. There is absolutely nothing wrong in wishing for these material things, but I encourage you to search more deeply for what you really want in your life.
All the ‘things’ that money can buy won’t make you happy unless other situations in your life are ‘right’. Let me mention just a couple.
YOUR HEALTH: There may be health problems in your life that are beyond your control, but often we can take steps to be more healthy. How about eating healthy foods….exercising more….drinking more water? How about eliminating or cutting down on the things we know are not good for us?
RELATIONSHIPS: Make it a goal to develop more positive relationships. This means developing good , strong, positive relationships with family, friends and co-workers.
Think about it. What would be the most important things in your life? What would really make you happy? When I make my list of goals, the ‘things’ money can buy are not my top priorities. What are yours?
This is not a subject that the everyday blogger hears of or talks about. What is Link Juice? Simply put, it is the power of the inbound links on the pages of your blog or web site. It is one of the first factors that an Internet marketer should check before starting an online campaign. By monitoring the analytics for all the existing pages to determine that the links are “up to snuff,” the link juice will not be lost. This is particularily helpful if the marketing strategy employs using keywords.
I had an idea for posts I could make every week that would share some Positive Thinking quotes. Often in life we can get a little down and sometimes even a simple quote can inspire us to push through to the next day. So while this might not be a life changing Blog post, it may give you a smile, or a burst of momentum on a slow day.

As a blogger for two years, I have learned much about blog content. There are two kinds of blog content needed – remarkable & regular. More of our writing is regular as we share our passion, but work to get the unusual and extraordinary content as well. Adding quality media helps too as our world of readers are impressed by visual proof and substance. To engage with potential leads that will hopefully be converted to sales, the blog needs to encourage conversations. Without interesting content to link to, the blog will just be sharing other people’s content on your network. This is important to growing readership, but won’t get real traffic. What will get the traffic is quality and consistency of the blog posts. By having a regular blogging schedule, readers will have a sense of anticipation and other thought leaders will be encouraged to interact on the blog too.
Having been a blogger for nearly two years, I am convinced of what I about to declare: “ Fun and profit are integral parts of blogging”.
I cannot make money without having fun and I cannot have fun without making money. Blogging is an Internet medium that is a blast to participate in and is also an easy way to make money while having fun. I have readers that I consider as friends and even consider their families as a part of mine. The interchange of ideas and sharing from a wealth of experience in my blog fields, gives me great pleasure.
Every time I sell an item on my blog I think of the connections I have with the buyer. The money is good but is more of a reward for having that friend who has confidence in what I share on a continual basis on the blog.

In the world of blogging marketing, it is frequently the little things that kill momentum, hinder achieving goals, or impeding home-based business growth. Having a limited business mindset is not a small thing and is one of the most destructive problems to marketing success. By limited mindset we are talking about the issue of listening to the wrong people.
There are so many gurus, so many magic buttons, so many perfect programs and so many marketing strategies, all designed to make everyone instant millionaires. In most cases the only one getting rich is the creator of the “program” itself. It is amazing the testimonies of blogging marketers who are making astronomical sums of money from these programs and when closely examined, they spend almost as much (on marketing) as they earn. Thank goodness there are tried and true courses and programs like IIP that can help blogging marketers and other Internet business owners meet with real financial success. Mindset is ninety percent of the equation for success in every area of life. The limited mindset will wreck havoc with business success.
Individuals who listen to the wrong people will spin their wheels with “false efficiencies” and not target real success. Hours will be wasted in front of a computer but only a small fraction of capabilities will be achieved. The marketer will get stuck dealing with the same problems over and over again holding him/her back from making any real progress. I have watched these scenarios take place time and again because the business mindset has not been established.
Rectifying the limited mindset is not difficult for most aspiring business entrepreneurs. The answer is to get rid of the “stinking thinking” and actions that cause the blogger to do the same things over and over again and not meet with success. There are good CD’s and books on the business mindset. The Internet is loaded with articles and materials that can help the limited mindset problem. I am blessed, as my employer for about eight years, my daughter, is so gifted in this area of helping people. Her book, “When You Can Walk on Water, Why Take The Boat”, as well as other motivational material turned me and many thousands of others around. I encourage you to win the battle of the mindset, and you too, can walk on the water of success.
