Here is my next installment for the weekly Positive Thinking quotes. Often in life we can get a little down and sometimes even a simple quote can inspire us to push through to the next day. So while this might not be a life changing Blog post, it may give you a smile, or a burst of momentum on a slow day.
Famous motivational and sales speaker Zig Ziglar.
This week’s quotes come from the internationally renowned inspirational speaker and sales technique master Zig Ziglar (November 6th, 1926 –), creator of the legendary books and courses as: Top Performance: How to Develop Excellence in Yourself and Others, Selling 101: What Every Successful Sales Professional Needs to Know, and See You At The Top. The list of people, especially professionals and entrepreneurs, Zig has helped over the last few decades is impressive. If you have Zig Ziglar speeches, courses, cds, or books in your collection you can bet you’ll see results in many areas of your life.

Another Thursday here in Max Pro Land and we have an important issue to discuss this week. And that subject is the art of the sale itself. It can be said that people don’t buy what they need they buy what they want. This is an important maxim to keep in mind when crafting your sales pitch.
When you send emails to your list are you giving them they need or want?
When you focus on what they need you are taking a sensible and logic approach. And unfortunately that approach doesn’t convey well into emotional buying patterns. You need to focus on giving them what they want instead. And what your customers want is an end to their pain. Address their problem. Speak to the pain itself. And you’ll have a much better handle on sales.
Internet marketing can attract more people to your website, increase customers for your business, and enhance branding of your company and products. If you are just beginning your online marketing strategy the top 10 list below will get you started on a plan that has worked for many.

Let’s talk a little bit about blogging. Max Pro system co-creator Mike Antoni is a die hard believer in blogging. He thinks it’s not only a fantastic way to drive traffic to your site but it’s also a great way to build up your list.
To drive traffic to your site you want to blog frequently. Blogs are updated and ranked more easily in Google then a regular website. So the more you update the better your ranking. You also want to make your blog posts as keyword rich as possible. This will also increase your ranking.
So remember to have a good set of keywords that your targeting before you start blogging.
In order to build a list off your blog what you want to do is offer a free giveaway that a potential customer would opt-in to receive. This can be something simple like a free report. Once the customer has opted in now you have the opportunity to relationship build with them which will increase your sales potential.
One further note; remember to choose a keyword rich URL for better Google rankings.
If you’re in this business for any length of time you quickly discover that there is only ONE thing of any importance – your list. Do you have one? Are you building one? Your list is GOLD.
A lot of emphasis is placed on getting the list. But not a lot is put on what to do once you have. Traffic driving and marketing is about getting the list. But relationship building is about what to do once you have one.
Are you building a relationship with your list? You should be. Are you emailing them two or three times a week? You should be.
And these should be quality emails. If you intend to try to ’sell’ your list on a weekly basis then you need to cushion that sales attempt with two quality emails that contain real valuable information within them.
Again, the best thing you can do is put your emphasis on the relationship and not the sale.
Do you know that the only constant in most of our lives is Change! This oxymoron touches all of our lives. Very few things are constant in these times. Change is huge! Everything seems to have an extraordinary short life cycle. Best friends, romance and marriage, where we live, what we wear, what we eat and what we drink, all seem to be constantly a part of the process of on-going change. What we can come to expect today is that everything is going to change. This should have an impact on all of us in the Internet marketing arena. Staying abreast of what customers are looking for, knowing the latest marketing strategies, having insight to keep NPD (New Product Development) in the forefront and always keeping our websites and blogs finely tuned, need to be constants. If we are consistent in these areas we will win in the ever-changing marketing world.
Let’s talk keywords. Do you have keywords that you’re currently using to market your business and drive traffic to your page?
If not, you should.
Keywords are vital to internet marketing and all successful online ventures. So how do you get keywords? Your keywords should be unique to you. They should be tried and tested. And they should be what you believe in and are ready to put your money behind.
To establish your keywords first think of the niche that you’re in. If your an affiliate to Max Pro you are in the home business opportunity niche. So now, you need to find some related keywords.
If you’re a total newbie you probably want to head over to Google and search for their keyword tool. Once in their keyword tool place in a common keyword to our biz opp industry. You might want to try from one of the suggestions below:
- make money from home
- part time work from home
- make money online
- moms work from home
What you’ll do is plug one of these phrases into the Google keyword tool and it will give you suggestions for long-tailed keyword phrases. These suggestions will also come with a monthly search volume. First you want to pick keywords that have a local search volume of over 5,000 per month. That’s always a good place to start.
Next, you’re going to want to scope out your competition. Open up a new tab in your browser window and plug your long-tailed keyword into the google search box. In the upper right hand corner of the screen it shows you how many competing site there are.
Your goal is to find a keyword that has less then 300,000 competing sites. You’re looking for high monthly search volume coupled with low competition. This is what is referred to as a sweet spot.
You may have spend some time on this. Try to come up with at least 10 keywords for your initial campaign.
Do you ever feel that you have lost connection with your customer base? This sense of separation can come from ineffective communication or a result of poor listening, off-target marketing, or an issue of weak product branding. Disconnection can happen when the marketing campaign utilizes wrong strategies that stray from the interests of the targeted, niche market. How do you reconnect? It is vital to Internet marketing success that an “alive” relationship is established and maintained at all times. Never take for granted your audience! They must feel valued and made to feel important or you will lose them, both new buyers and repeat purchasers. “Show me you know me” needs to be your focus. Be Connected!
The word optimization is freely tossed around in internet marketing circles today and is often misused. Getting the best or most favorable use of a marketing tool or technique is extremely important in terms of making money online. A video offers multiple media optimization opportunities for newbies as well as advanced marketers.
Here are some great reasons to video.
1. Videos hosted with YouTube and Vimeo or similar services are great traffic drivers.
2. Videos hosted with 3rd party services can be embedded into blog pages, any web site page, or within a press release on services like PR Web.
3. Using relevant key words, show notes can accompany the embedded video to provide search engines and users with an explanation of the video.
4. Screen shots of exciting or key moments in the video can be hosted on sites that permit images with links back to the video itself.
5. An article can be written (made up of a transcription of the video) and posted on and off site as a promotion for the embedded video page.
6. The Max Pro System provides training and support for accomplishing your video marketing goals.
