Blog Commenting

Hello Max Pro Community,

Today we’re going to talk about blog posting. We’ve talked before about how Max Pro co-creator Mike Antoni is a huge believer in blogging. We have a great blogging package that we sell by the way if you’re interested. But anyways, Mike believes that blogging is necessary for the success of your online business. He says it as a great way to build a loyal customer base and to drive traffic to your site.

But what we haven’t talked about before is the necessity of blog commenting. Commenting on other people’s blogs can be a great way to advertise your business opportunity and generate traffic for your site.

Here are some basic steps that you can follow to get you started:

1.) Establish a list of keywords to work from.
- You’re going to want to choose keywords that are home business oriented. Like work from home, build your own online business, etc…

2.) Plug your keywords into Google to generate a list of blogs for you to visit.

3.) Set a goal to visit at least 5 blogs a day

4.) Once at the blog read the posts and get a general feel for the blog. Make sure your biz opp would be welcome there.

5.) Create a signature that includes your website link in it and a brief blurb about your opportunity

6.) Thoughtfully respond to a blog post with an insightful comment. Don’t hard sell. Let your blog signature do the selling for you.

Keep at it and in no time you’ll have a variety of back links established that will generate traffic for you and your website!

Sincerely,
Megan Madison, MaxPro Marketing

Hi Guys,

Let’s talk a little bit about blogging. Max Pro system co-creator Mike Antoni is a die hard believer in blogging. He thinks it’s not only a fantastic way to drive traffic to your site but it’s also a great way to build up your list.

To drive traffic to your site you want to blog frequently. Blogs are updated and ranked more easily in Google then a regular website. So the more you update the better your ranking. You also want to make your blog posts as keyword rich as possible. This will also increase your ranking.

So remember to have a good set of keywords that your targeting before you start blogging.

In order to build a list off your blog what you want to do is offer a free giveaway that a potential customer would opt-in to receive. This can be something simple like a free report. Once the customer has opted in now you have the opportunity to relationship build with them which will increase your sales potential.

One further note; remember to choose a keyword rich URL for better Google rankings.

words-of-wisdom

Words of Wisdom

Hello,

Believe You Can Succeed and You Will. In order to accomplish anything you need to believe first that it’s possible. Once we have that belief, it sets the mind in motion to find ways to accomplish it. Most people never really believe in themselves, and as a result, they never get far. The moment you truly believe that you will succeed, your mind starts to think of ways to get there.

THINK BIG: “Think BIG and you’ll live big. You’ll live big in happiness. You’ll live big in accomplishment. Big in income. Big in friends. Big in respect. Start now, right now, to discover how to make your thinking make magic for you.” ~David J. Schwartz.

The great philosopher Disraeli once said: “Life is too short to be little.”

Hi Guys,

I would just like to take a few moments to discuss SEO optimization. Did you know that your URL is very important in how Google ranks your site?

When you joined Max Pro you had to register your own domain name. But the question is did you register a smart one?

When picking a domain it’s important to think in terms of not only SEO but in terms of natural memory as well.

For instance, when it comes to SEO optimization for your MAX PRO site choosing a URL with keywords in the address would be vital. For MAX PRO words like what follows would be appropriate:

- make money from home
- home based business
- get rich from home

And so on…

So a good example of an optimized URL would be:

– makemoneyfromhome.com
– homebasedbusinesselite.com
– getrichwhileyousleep.com

The business opportunity world is very competitive. So you will probably have to spend some time playing around with different words and options until you find an available URL.

Also, when it comes to natural memory you want to pick a URL that makes sense to your customer base, something that is easy for them to remember. The above URL examples I gave both make sense to the user and would be good for GOOGLE. But as another example if you ran a business that sold candied apples over the internet you would want to choose a URL like: sendmecandiedcapples.com.

So take some time and create some great keyword rich URLs. If you are using the Priceless software system you are allowed to have different URLs attached to the same account. The same is true if you are using Cool Net Web Hosting services.

Best Wishes..
Here’s to your wealth and business!

The List

Hello readers,

If you’re in this business for any length of time you quickly discover that there is only ONE thing of any importance – your list. Do you have one? Are you building one? Your list is GOLD.

A lot of emphasis is placed on getting the list. But not a lot is put on what to do once you have. Traffic driving and marketing is about getting the list. But relationship building is about what to do once you have one.

Are you building a relationship with your list? You should be. Are you emailing them two or three times a week? You should be.

And these should be quality emails. If you intend to try to ’sell’ your list on a weekly basis then you need to cushion that sales attempt with two quality emails that contain real valuable information within them.

Again, the best thing you can do is put your emphasis on the relationship and not the sale.

is-timing-everything

Is Timing Everything?

Hi,

Is Timing Everything?

What do I mean? Have you ever wished you had the foresight to see how big Microsoft or Google would be. How about Coca Cola or Walmart? While timing isn’t everything, it sure does help! Even Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s Mad Money, is bullish on direct selling, especially during a slowing economy. On a recent TV show he said, “Direct selling is a great model…with high gross margins, low capital intensity, lots of free cash flow,” It’s a fragmented industry with gigantic room for growth.” This is a good time of the year to do a pre-holiday marketing campaign – the timing is right!

Hi Guys,

How many of you are currently using Twitter to market your business?

Think of yourselves as the CEO of your very own Max Pro company. It’s up to you to keep in touch with your public. Twitter is a great way to do that.

To get started, go over to Twitter and register an account. It’s free!

Then start typing. Each Twitter update has to be less then 140 characters. When you update keep in mind that your attempting to establish a relationship with your audience (your potential customers.)

So how do you get an audience? Simple. Search for people to follow. When you follow them they’ll usually follow you in return.

See it really is that simple.

Good Luck guys!

a-story-to-tell

A Story To Tell!

Hi!

About a year ago I learned a technique that is great for generating traffic on my blog and, at the same time, can be used to increase the value of items being sold.  It is simple and easy to do. Does your item being sold have a story to tell  or does it have historic significance? Let me share a few examples of this technique that has been profitable for me.

As a metal detector and coin collecting hobbyist, I have found both coins and relic items that are historically significant, and thus are worth more money. An 1880 railroad lock normally worth $80.00 sold for $250 on my blog when I researched and shared its historical significance to the growth and development of the Tampa Bay area. A 1916 NEA sterling silver pin brought a premium price of $25.00 although it was missing the pin closure mechanism. The silver value was less than $3.00 but that was the first year that there was a national NEA conference and collectors wanted one because of its historical significance.  I have dug up over 153,000 coins in my 40 years of metal detecting and find that I can sell silver or gold coins of the 1800’s and 1900’s for more than there silver or numismatic value, if they are “significant” dates.  This significance can be a year of importance like a birth-date, or the  year of a major event in history. I have sold many coins of 1861, 1883, 1892, 1900, 1909, 1916, 1932, 1943, 1945, 1950, 1957, 1962, and 1964.

Salability is even greater if an item has a story to tell. An 1861 Indian head cent found on Deserter’s or Hangman’s Hill in Tarpon Springs, FL has a powerful story to tell. Escapees  from Fort Brooke in Tampa during the Civil War were captured and hung and this penny was found under the tree from which they were hung. An 1861 mint state half dollar found at a stagecoach watering hole, in what is now Palm Harbor Florida, has another story to tell. People will pay premium prices for items with a story to tell.  How did a 69 A.D. Hebrew half shekel get in the ground in Tarpon Springs. How did a 2500 year old Chinese coin end up in the ground in this same community or a 4000 year old Egyptian silver coin get here? I dug up a confederate soldier’s grave marker in a vacant lot and a 1924 Macy’s Department Store weighing scale weighing over 200 pounds in a wilderness area with no roads or signs of human activity. What stories do these items tell? I have researched all of these items and can create fascinating stories which have plausibility (except for the ancient Egyptian coin). If  it has a story to tell it will sell!
