Hey everyone,

Here is my next installment for the weekly Positive Thinking quotes.   Often in life we can get a little down and sometimes even a simple quote can inspire us to push through to the next day.  So while this might not be a life changing Blog post, it may give you a smile, or a burst of momentum on a slow day.

This week’s quotes come from Minister Robert Schuller. You may have heard of Robert Schuller (b. Sept 16th, 1926) before, internationally renowned minister of the Crystal Cathedral, in California.  Mentored by Norman Vincent Peale (see our blog post on Peale), Robert is famous for his Hour of Power television show, and for speaking around the world on Faith and Positive Thinking.  His famous writings/speakings include Move Ahead With Possibility Thinking and You Can Be The Person You Want To Be.

Robert Schuller is considered by some to be an expert in motivational speaking and positive thinking.  He reminds us there is more to life than what we think, and that we should live exciting lives, full of possibilities and positivity.

Now for some Robert Schuller quotes:

If you listen to your fears, you will die never knowing what a great person you might have been.
Robert H. Schuller

It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.

Robert H. Schuller

It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.
Robert H. Schuller

I’d rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed.
Robert H. Schuller

If there exists no possibility of failure, then victory is meaningless.
Robert H. Schuller

Failure doesn’t mean you are a failure it just means you haven’t succeeded yet.
Robert H. Schuller

Again and again, the impossible problem is solved when we see that the problem is only a tough decision waiting to be made.
Robert H. Schuller

Always look at what you have left. Never look at what you have lost.

Robert H. Schuller

Goals are not only absolutely necessary to motivate us. They are essential to really keep us alive.
Robert H. Schuller

Goals must never be from your ego, but problems that cry for a solution.
Robert H. Schuller

High achievers spot rich opportunities swiftly, make big decisions quickly and move into action immediately. Follow these principles and you can make your dreams come true.
Robert H. Schuller

These Robert Schuller quotes are phenomenal!  They really are.  Each one is powerful and can create change in our lives.  You should seriously write down a half dozen of them that really spoke to you or impressed you, and post them places you will read them each day. Places like- on your computer, bulletin board, office desk, refrigerator, bathroom mirror, even a piece of paper to put in your wallet or your purse.

Even a tiny little quote can create an avalanche of accomplishment.

To success and positive thoughts, a great weekend and week,

Hello,

It’s now 09/11/2009Eight years since the world stopped turning on that tragic day in America.

American Flag Flying High.

American Flag Flying High.

We all know the story.  The sadness and loss in New York City, Washington DC and the Pennsylvania Countryside.

But there is more about that day than that.  It’s about Hope, Perseverance, Faith, and the best things that life is made up of.

09/11/01 – Tragedy.  Hope.  Perseverance.

09/11/09 -  We remember.  And we still have hope and perseverance.

Just as much as we remember the loss on that day, we also remember the hope.  We remember those men and women who rushed into danger and possible death just to help another person live. They risked their own lives for complete strangers.  They are heroes.  We remember those who passed away on that day, and honor them.

The Fire Deparment of New York. Heroes.

The Fire Deparment of New York. Heroes.

We sometimes only remember the mind-boggling loss of September 11th, 2001But we should also remember the mind-boggling good of that day too.

Whether it was the FDNY (fire department of new york), or the NYPD ( new york police department), or the NYPA (new york port authority), people rushed into the danger of burning and collapsing buildings just to save other peoples’ lives.

And ordinary every-day citizens of New York City also rushed into danger, or in some cases back into danger, to help save the lives of people they didn’t even know.

We persevere, remember and honor.

We will never forget that day, and our hope lives on.

We will never forget.

We will never forget.

That hope and strength galvanized us as a nation, and made us appreciate our every-day lives even more.

This blog post today isn’t about business, or anything else really.
It’s about remembering that day…

… And remembering that we, too, can make a difference every day in our lives.

We can help a total stranger.  We can smile and wave.  We can do the things we always put off.  We can help those in need.  We can do more, do better, do for ourselves and for others.  We can remember our hopes and dreams.  We can do the things in life we truly want to do.

Being a hero is just a title we give people. Some deserve it though.  Those who helped and passed on 09/11… Soldiers in WWII… doctors, nurses, nuns, ministers, volunteers, and on and on.  But you and I can do heroic things too.  We can help others.  We can do for others.  We can live our dreams.

So as we remember those who passed and those who helped on that September day in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania… we can also remember that we too can help others.  That we too can have hope and perseverance.  That we too can live our dreams.

To the memory and honor of those who passed away, and those who heroically helped others, on 09/11/01.

When I grow up, I want to be…….

Do you remember when you were a child and would be asked what you wanted to be when you grew up? Some children want to be a fireman, a nurse, a race car driver, a doctor….I even heard one child say he wanted to be the garbage collector (I bet his mom wasn’t thrilled).

As we grew older, our desires for an occupation in life became more focused and we realized we had to prepare for our futures. Let’s take the example of wanting to be a doctor. We all know that it requires lots of money to enroll in first a 4 year college and then medical school. Now let’s imagine that we have those thousands and thousands of dollars. We can send in our application and a money order for our education—PAID IN FULL!! Does that make a person a doctor? Well, I sure don’t want to go to one of these people. No, of course that doesn’t make anyone a doctor. This student can have the greatest of desires to be a doctor—can have paid all the tuition and fees…but it’s still a long journey before he/she can put Dr. in front of their name. There are many years of school and training…periods of internship to refine the skills necessary.

Then there is the person who purchases a franchise for a famous fast food restaurant. He makes a huge investment, hires a staff, does advertising….and after 30 days, he quits because he didn’t make a profit.

Ridiculous, isn’t it? Yet, this I how many people treat their businesses. They think the investment of money makes them a successful online marketer. They are only willing to invest a month and if it doesn’t work out, they quit!! They don’t take the necessary steps to really learn how to achieve that success.

I am working on commissions right mow for a 2 week period of sales. There are 18 commissions of 250.00 I will not be paying!! Why? The people quit before they got started. They did some little bits of marketing, didn’t see immediate results, and walked away from it all.

Please do not be one of the quitters. You have to determine in your mind that you will succeed….that you will take the time necessary to learn the methods and acquire the skills to be a success. You can do it!

Hi Gang,

I’d like to share a story with everyone about a woman that is very close to Mike Antoni. This story is being retold with permission of course. But for the sake of privacy we will refer to this woman as Annette.

Annette came from very humble beginnings. She comes from a lower middle class family that had to struggle and battle for every little thing they had. Her mother worked during a period of time when it wasn’t that common to find women with careers. But her family needed the dual income.

Through Annette’s early adult life she followed in the same foot steps as her parents; struggling and battling to keep a roof over her head, food on the table, and afford a decent home in a safe neighborhood.

And then one day Annette discovered internet marketing. And she found that she had a real flair for it. For the first time in her life she had real financial freedom. She was abundant. She had completely changed her life!

Annette should have been living the good life. She had finally acquired everything she had ever dreamed of having. She had pushed through the financial chains she was born into and moved on to bigger and better things.

So what was the problem?

The problem was that Annette wasn’t happy. Anybody who knew Annette could tell you that she was always under stress, short-tempered, and laboring day and night to hold her business together. It was during this period of time that Annette and Mike Antoni began working together. And Mr. Antoni couldn’t believe the stress that Annette seemed to be putting herself through.

You see it was Mr. Antoni’s opinion that Annette’s stress was entirely self-induced. That the constant laboring was not in fact a necessary part of her business process but was a dysfunction in her approach. For Mike wisely realized that growing up the way that she did Annette had equated struggle, strife and stressful labor to financial well being. Even when she was working for herself at her own business Annette subconsciously had reproduced the circumstances of her parents.

Once Mike was able to identify this trait within her Annette was able to make some real progress in her life. She was able to let go and realize that internet marketing should be fun, challenging yes, but fun and rewarding.

So my suggestion to all of you reading is to sit down and think for a few moments today about your own ‘wealth programming.’ Did you pick up bad habits from your parents? Are you carrying with you negative and stressful ideas about what it means to earn money?

If we can identify where we’re coming from it will be a whole lot easier to get where we’d like to go.
